SUMMARY:Beginner Drawing Course
DESCRIPTION:Participants will gain a solid foundation and understanding of the basics to drawing and will explore different drawing materials\, set up procedures\, lighting and rendering techniques\, design and layout methods\, and more. The course is being instructed by Jennifer Wampler\, a graduate of Frostburg State University who obtained her Masters Degree in Art Education\, and has lived in Florence\, Italy where she attended the Accademia Italiana and earned a Certificate of Completion for their Intensive Fashion Design Course. After returning to the United States\, she worked as a Graphic Designer in Washington\, DC for several years. Wampler has been teaching art for the past eight years for the Garrett County School System\, Garrett College and some short workshops for Ruth Enlow Libraries. Materials needed for the course include the following: #2 Pencils (2)\, Eraser (art eraser preferably) and a Spiral Bound Sketchpad (size between 8.5x11 - 11x14). The instructor will provide charcoal and some loose drawing paper.
