DESCRIPTION:The Continuing Education and Workforce Development division of Garrett College is offering a four-session course\, Crocheting II\, at the Southern Outreach Center in Oakland on Wednesdays\, June 3 through June 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This class builds on the Crocheting Basics offered last winter but newcomers with little experience are welcome to join the class. Instruction will start with a quick review of the basics and then move on to improve techniques while moving on to slightly more complex patterns. A group project of baby blankets will be included. Participants should bring G\, H\, and I hooks and a skein of worsted weight (4 ply) yarn to the first class. The class will be instructed by Katherine Lee\, who has been crocheting for over 30 years.
