DESCRIPTION:Garrett County Arts Council will be hosting a day of art to help celebrate the Town of Friendsville's 250th anniversary. Artists participating in Mountain Maryland Plein Air (with Allegany Arts Council) will be on hand for a Quick Draw painting event in the town. The public is invited to attend the Quick Draw as observers and then take part in a reception and sale of artwork. Quick Draw Painting takes place from 1-3. Prizes and exhibit will take place at the reception from 4-6 p.m. at The Anchor on 1st Ave. in Friendsville. Call 301-334-6580 for more details.
