DESCRIPTION:Instructed by Dr. Neil Brooks\, this course will focus on Garrett County history. Brooks' focus and research on Garrett County towns include Friendsville\, Grantsville\, Crellin\, Jennings\, Kitzmiller and the southern border of the county along the Potomac River. In an interactive approach to learning\, participants often add their own personal/family stories that help to bring history to life. A final class meeting will include an optional field trip by the college van to several county sites that will be discussed in the course.
