DESCRIPTION:Garrett College Continuing Education and Workforce Development will be offering a course titled\, Music Made Easy\, at the Northern Outreach Center in Grantsville on Mondays\, June 1 to 22\, 7-9 p.m. This four-week course is designed to help both amateur musicians and those who have little to no experience learn the basics of reading music notation. Throughout the course\, each student will learn how to read rhythm and pitch on a treble and bass clef staff\, as well as a variety of music symbols including articulations\, dynamics\, time signature\, and temp markings. This course will be taught by Dr. Sean Beachy\, resident instructor of piano and composition\, who has many years? experience working with both new music students and amateur church musicians.
