DESCRIPTION:The Chamber is pleased to announce that Simon Pearce will be hosting our November Business After Hours on Thursday\, November 14th from 6 pm - 8 pm in Oakland.\n\n\n\nSimon Pearce opened his first glassblowing workshop in Kilkenny\, Ireland in 1971 after gaining glassblowing experience working in European glass factories.  In 1981\, he moved the operation to Quechee\, VT.  The Simon Pearce company now produces hand blown glass and handmade pottery.  Today there are 2 facilities in VT with a third glass factory and retail store located in Mt. Lake Park\, MD.\n\n\n\nFrom inception\, Simon's vision has been to create products that are beautifully designed\, produced with premium quality materials using time-honored techniques and are intended for everyday use.  Simon Pearce offers their glass\, pottery and home accents in their 7 retail stores\, catalogues and online as well as in a network of specialty retail stores. \n\n\n\nEnjoy delicious food and drinks as you mingle with fellow Chamber members and Chamber staff at our monthly networking events.
