DESCRIPTION:When cancer patients don?t have transportation\, it limits their few options for completing their treatment. Many have no way to get to the daily or weekly treatment over a period of months. Although family and friends may be able to help\, there may be many times when they?re not available. Road To Recovery provides a free transportation option for patients in this situation. The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers to drive patients two and from treatment. They will be holding a 30 minute information session\, followed by a one hour training for those interested in staying and being trained on the spot.
