SUMMARY:Victorian Chautauqua Writers Workshop Series
DESCRIPTION:The Victorian Chautauqua Writers Workshop series will be held July 11-15. With seven workshops to choose from\, there is an array of engaging programs for all ages.\n\n\n\nAmong the workshop for adults is learning the craft of writing a children's book\, playwriting\, poetry\, and songwriting. Teens can sign up for a creative writing workshop with a nature theme\, and children grades 3 through 5 and grades 6 through 8 can select from two young creative writing programs.\n\n\n\nThis will be the second year for the workshop series which proved to be quite successful in 2020\, despite the challenges of the pandemic. As the week-long program ends\, participants will have an opportunity to share their works publicly. The mixture of diverse disciplines makes for an exciting\, creative week for everyone involved.\n\n\n\nSeasoned instructors carefully craft their workshops tailored to be supportive and nurturing environments. All levels of experience are welcome and considered as the week unfolds. Detailed information is available online of both the instructors and the programs. Workshops are partially funded by Landon's Library and Friends of Ruth Enlow Library\, and in cooperation with Our Town Theatre\, The Sincell Family\, The Town of Mountain Lake Park\, and Ruth Enlow Library.
