Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations within our establishment. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage a team, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry, ensuring that guests have an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the food and beverage department, including staff (Server / Cooks / Bartenders / Service Attendants) supervision and training.
  • Manage food and labor costs, implementing strategies to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Train and supervise both front-of-house and back-of-house staff, fostering a strong, motivated team.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices, including ordering and budgeting.
  • Utilize POS system for efficient order processing and sales tracking.
  • Develop menus in collaboration with General Manager and Cooks to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food handling processes.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team-building activities.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain high levels of service.
  • Assist with conducting interviews, hiring staff, and providing ongoing training to enhance team performance.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
  • Proven management experience in food management or related fields.
  • Skills in bartending, cooking, food preparation, and customer service are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management within a restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
