The Mayor and Town Council of Oakland, MD are proud to announce that permits and plans are in place for the annual Fireworks Celebration to be held at the Broadford Lake Recreation Area on Friday, July 3rd 2021.
The cost for admission is $3.00 per person and $1.00 per child aged 8 and under. The fireworks show is set to go off at dusk and a rain date has been set for July 5th, 2021.
The Town expects a large turnout for the event and recommends arriving early to secure a parking spot. The park will open at 8:00 a.m. for daily activities.
The Garrett Community Concert Band and Garrett Choral Society will present a concert of patriotic and other classic literature in celebration of July 4! The concert is free and open to the public and starts at 7:30pm.
