Garrett College Continuing Education and Workforce Development has scheduled a hands-on computer course, Buy, Sell and Profit from Online Auctions. This course is for the individual who wants to learn how to buy and sell on eBay. Participants will go through the process of registering on eBay and PayPal all the way through to collecting funds. Bidding and selling strategies will be discussed. Learn about different auction types, fees, writing effective descriptions, shipping options, setting up an eBay buyer and/or seller account, using PayPal payment service, uploading digital images, etc. Students can bring a small item to sell such as a watch or the like. Members in the class will add items for sale and watch the auctions end the following week. Students will need a digital camera for photographing items for sale. Prerequisite: Intro PC Plus or equivalent Internet and Windows knowledge.
