The Continuing Education and Workforce Development division of Garrett College is offering a four-session course, Crocheting II, at the Southern Outreach Center in Oakland on Wednesdays, June 3 through June 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This class builds on the Crocheting Basics offered last winter but newcomers with little experience are welcome to join the class. Instruction will start with a quick review of the basics and then move on to improve techniques while moving on to slightly more complex patterns. A group project of baby blankets will be included. Participants should bring G, H, and I hooks and a skein of worsted weight (4 ply) yarn to the first class. The class will be instructed by Katherine Lee, who has been crocheting for over 30 years.
