The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 31st, outside the New Germany State Park Lake House. The event will feature over 1,000 candy-filled eggs hidden in the park! After the egg hunt, participants are encouraged to enter the "Peeps Diorama Contest." The diorama contest will challenge kids to create a miniature world for marshmallow Peeps, using natural and recycled materials provided. Bring your own marshmallow Peeps, or purchase some at the Lake House. Judging at 12:30 PM. Prizes to be awarded! For more information, please call the Ranger Station at 301-895-5453.
