All Earth Eco Tours is offering a special kayak tour during the eclipse from 11am until 3pm. The kayak tour will take place at the Savage Reservoir 20-30 minutes from the Deep Creek Lake area and in the middle of the Savage State Forest. This beautiful and pristine mountain lake features no motors boats and NO development and is surrounded by Maryland's highest mountains. This is an amazing nature experience away from the resort area.
The eclipse is from 1:30 to 2:30 and we will spend the time on shore looking at the event with pin hole cards we provide. Folks are also welcome to paddle the lake nearby during the eclipse as well.
A picnic buffet lunch will be spread out on shore by the guides from noon unitl 1pm.
This trip is great for beginners and anyone from 5 years to 75.
