Join us as our student environmental technicians present JCLS's "Getting to Know Wetlands: Our Summer Job Monitoring the Headwaters of the North Branch of the Potomac."
In this lecture, students will share firsthand experiences from their summer work monitoring the headwaters of the North Branch of the Potomac River. During biological surveys, the team assessed the impacts of acid mine drainage and the vital role of wetlands in protecting water quality.
All presentations are offered free of charge, and we invite the public and community members to attend. We can't wait to see you there!
