Leadership Garrett County, it is targeted toward identifying and developing emerging leaders from the ranks of local citizens, non-profit, and governmental/education/heal institutions. Students are from a variety of career backgrounds. All students must apply and be sponsored by a local organization. The program consists of monthly all-day meetings over a period of half-year where students hear from local leaders, travel to learn about local institutions, participate in lectures and networking with emerging leaders in the class.
