Garrett College Continuing Education and Workforce Development is offering a course, Make & Take Workshop: Fido and Felix with Essential Oils, at the main campus in McHenry. The course will be held on November 14, 6-8 p.m. If you love using essential oils in the home, you’ve probably wondered how you can share the benefits with your four-legged friends. Which oils are safe to use? How much can I apply? Should I diffuse or apply topically? Come learn how to safely use essential oils with your animal companions. In this Fido & Felix Make & Take Workshop, participants will be making a variety of recipes developed with Janet Roark, DVM that will keep your four-legged friends happy, healthy and strong, and smelling great! The course is being instructed by local resident Kearstin Hinebaugh, a doTERRA Wellness Advocate.
