The trek is on! Join us for the fun, crazy and memorable Mountain Lion Trek. Your team of 4 will travel by car completing various missions at businesses and points of interest between McHenry, MD and Oakland, MD. Your score is tracked in real time with our custom app, so you’re competing against the clock and other teams for prizes and bragging rights!
The trek begins with joining the game on our app. To complete a mission, select it from the list and follow the instructions to receive the allotted points. Sometimes you’ll be submitting a photo or video, while other times you’ll be checking-in at a specific location or solving a puzzle or riddle. Your points will be received right away, but all submissions are subject to review by the organizer. At the end of the trek all teams will meet back at Wisp Resort for an awards party. Relax and enjoy food and entertainment.
The cost is $100 per car with up to 4 people. Each additional person is $20 per person. After 9/1/19 the cost is $125 for 4 people per car. The cost to participate includes a specially designed map printed on a 17 x 17 custom keepsake bandana, admissions, and permission to use the app. All rules of the road must be obeyed.
Event organizers Warriors of Wisp (WOW) Team and Deep Creek Lake Lions Club. All proceeds benefit the Deep Creek Lions Club’s Blind Skier Program.
