Join us at the Garrett College National Remembrance Day Roll Call on Wednesday, November 11 at the McHenry campus of the College. We will begin reading names of the fallen at 7:30am, at 2pm there will be a minute of silence followed by a bag piper playing Amazing Grace and Steve Smith singing a song he wrote to honor our military, called 'The Brave'. Names of our veterans will be read until 3:45pm. A 21-gun salute and taps will take place at 3:45p.m. Following, there will be a reception at the CARC. A men's basketball game at 6pm will be in honor of our veterans. The Northern High School Color guard will present the colors, followed by Steve Smith performing 'The Brave' and the military tribute song. All Veterans, families, and the general public is invited to attend any of the day activities and events.
