Tours of the station will be given and raffle tickets will be available to win a Simon Pearce Nantucket Hurricane Candle Holder. This $475 beautiful piece of glass was donated by Simon Pearce and has been etched with a picture of the Oakland B&O Station with the inscription "1884 Oakland B&O Railroad Station".
The Town of Oakland is working with the the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum to have Oakland's station become a railroad museum.
