On Friday, April 26th there will be a dinner held at Pleasant Valley Community Center. It is $25 per person. Steven French will be speaking on the "Jones-Imboden Raid". There will be music by Hammer and Strings. Reservations can be made through the Garrett COunty Historical Society at 301-334-3226.
On Saturday, April 27th, there will be dinner at the Oakland Elk's Club. Reservations are also $25 per person. The speaker will be Daniel Toomey on "The History of the B&O Railroad in the Civil War". Music will be performed by the Shenandoah Valley Minstrels. There will also be a Civil War dance led by Tom and Leslie Mack of the Shenandoah Valley Civil War Era Dancers. Period dress is encouraged, but not mandatory. Reservations can be made through the Garrett COunty Historical Society at 301-334-3226.
