You are invited to attend a meeting to provide input on state and local regulations that are hindering business in Garrett County. These regulations could include sprinkler requirements, septic systems, DCL permitting, highway entrance permitting, etc. Bill Grant, a member of the Governor’s Regulatory Reform Commission, will be here to gather feedback for the Commission. The meeting is for members only and is free to attend.
The Governor’s Regulatory Reform Commission will be conducting a comprehensive review of Maryland’s regulatory climate in an effort to identify problems that could potentially impact Maryland’s business environment. Your Chamber is seeking feedback to help us prepare comments for the Commission as well as gather input on local regulations that need improvement.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, complete the form (click HERE to download) and return it to the Chamber by November 12. The form is a PDF fillable form so it can be completed electronically or you can print the form and complete it, then return it.
You may also bring your completed form with you to the meeting on November 10. We encourage you to review the form before attending the meeting to help prepare items you would like to discuss.
Your input is very important, please share your issues by completing the form, attending the meeting, or both.
