Winter is over and THE MASONS will be back from Florida, so we had to book them. It has been a little while since we have had them play for us. They are a lovely couple and we can't wait to have them back!

Skip Mason started pickin' on an acoustic guitar at the age of 10 and from that point music was the focus of his life taking him on a melodic adventure of rock 'n roll, blues, country...even a Florida beach band...
His interests in music have been influenceded by the early greats such as Hank Williams, to rock & blues legends like The Allman Bros., and B.B. King. His Appalachian roots have helped him develop a style which mixes all of these influences into an upbeat, fun genre of its own.
Cindi Mason was always drawn to music and found her own expression of this love on the upright bass, which would ultimately add the perfect accompaniment that Skip had been longing for. Her vocal harmonies blended naturally with Skip's lead vocal, taking the two on a musical journey together, and thus "The Masons" had begun.
Over the past few years, The Masons have evolved with tight arrangements, smooth harmonies, and their ability to put their own Appalachian spin on familiar songs, which has generated enthusiastic audience support from the numerous performances throughout their home state of West Virginia.
In January 2014, The Masons released their debut self-titled CD and would follow by playing over 250 live shows in 6 states in support of their CD.
In 2015, The Masons have begun recording their second CD, and are touring heavily to expanded audiences throughout the East Coast.
The Masons are Skip and Cindi. Skip plays acoustic guitar, provides lead vocals, and keeps the audience entertained with his humor. Cindi plays "Momma", the upright bass, adds harmony vocals, and keeps their show on the road.
