The Walk for Recovery honors the many roads that lead to freedom from substance use disorder—and the courage of all who travel them.
Together, we walk to:
- - Raise awareness about Substance Use Disorder and the importance of a strong recovery community.
- - Support the first women’s recovery residence in Garrett County, MD, through much-needed fundraising.
- - Stomp out stigma and uplift the truth that recovery is real and worth celebrating.
- - Honor and remember the loved ones we've lost and those still fighting.
- - Share a powerful message: Behavioral health is essential to overall health. Prevention works. Treatment is effective. And people can and do recover.
Thank you for walking with us—and for helping provide hope and healing, one step at a time.
