About Us
The spacious three-level Lodge building houses a comfortable great room with a massive stone fireplace, bar, gourmet restaurant, eclectic library, gift shop and wrap around porches for dining or relaxing.
Eighteen private luxury cabins provide guests with a sitting room with sink-into furnishings, gas fireplace and a hot beverage center with small refrigerator. An enveloping down-clad queen bed is in the sleeping loft. The cabin porch invites you to relax. Forest scented toiletries, deep soaking tubs and an umbrella for two add special touches. All cabins are non-smoking. The cabins do not have televisions, encouraging guests to seek entertainment outdoors and enhancing the feeling of peaceful solitude. Special treats and massages can be ordered.
The Lodge is pet-friendly, accepting pets by advance reservation only
The casual restaurant offers sophisticated American regional cuisine, innovatively styled comfort foods and features local organic vegetables in season and specialty meats, seafood, game and vegetarian dishes. All enhanced by our multi-award winning wine list. The open kitchen, wood-burning oven and indoor or outdoor dining (seasonal) make our restaurant a regional destination.
The Savage River Trading Company gifts, clothing, snacks, home accessories, dog toys, antiques and works by local artisans...a perfect way to take a some of the Lodge home with you.
The meeting facilities are a world apart from the ''standard'' hotel meeting room. The upper level meeting space features log walls, cathedral ceiling, French doors leading to a treetop-view.
